The Department of Aerospace Engineering was established within the Tarsus University Graduate Education Institute in the 2023-2024 fall semester. The thesis master's program offered by the department aims to provide training for the need for qualified personnel arising from the developments in the field of aviation and space, which have become increasingly important in our country in recent years. The language of instruction of the program is Turkish. Within the scope of the department, there is a staff of academics who can provide education and research opportunities in areas such as aerodynamics, flight stability and control, orbital mechanics, aviation and space materials, computational fluid dynamics, and composite materials. It is aimed that the students who graduate from this program will be engineers and researchers who have a good command of the literature in their field of expertise, can follow innovations, can offer appropriate solutions to the problems they encounter, and can play an active role in research and development processes.
