The Department of Micro and Nanotechnology aims to create an interdisciplinary field of study where basic sciences and engineering sciences can develop within themselves, while uniting on a common denominator at the production-application stage.
Students will have the opportunity to improve themselves in the field of their choice based on micro and nanotechnology, and will be able to conduct experimental studies in the fields they work/will work in. By gaining knowledge about the preparation of nano and micro materials, their application areas, production technologies, analysis, selection of analysis methods and interpretation of the results, new products/production methods will be developed as a result of combining this information with technology. The language of instruction of the Thesis Master's program offered under the Department of Micro and Nanotechnology is Turkish.
